Zamanak Ya Salt Café is the first woman-owned food establishment in Al-Salt. In 2010, with support from USAID, owner Nadia Abu Sammen renovated a historic home that once housed two Muslim and two Christian families who shared the same backyard and ate food on the same table highlighting a very progressive relegious tolerance, something Al salt city is known for; now it has turned into the Zamanak Ya Salt Café which you can visit and explore to see this beuatiful glipmse of hisorty in its corners
